On March 1, I journeyed into Manhattan to attend a double-feature at the United Palace. It was a showing of Superman: The Movie (1978) and Batman (1989), two films I’d not seen in a theater since, well, 1978 and 1989. And let me tell you, it was a blast! If you ever get the chance to see either of these movies on the big screen again, do so. They really are best watched in a dark theater with a crowd.
