The Word Ladder
Pick a word. Any word.
Now pick another one. Again, any word.
Keep going. Just pick words, one after the other. Write them down. You’re not crafting a sentence, just a list. Do this until you hit fifteen or twenty words. Then use the final word as a prompt and craft a paragraph around it.
What does this do? It occupies your logical, critical left brain with a rote task so that your right brain can get creative without interference.
