Every week, rejection letters from my past. Because the hurt goes away after a couple of decades.
I like that they say “because we know how much effort went into this submission, we regret the use of this form.” It’s a nice little acknowledgement of the work we (like to think we) put into our stories. Even the stories that suck. 🙂
