When I first scanned this one in, I thought I wouldn’t have anything to say. It does, at first, seem to be another in a line of magazines closing down due to lack of distribution, etc.

But read the whole letter. Notice that after spilling ink to blame external forces, the end of the letter says — almost as an afterthough — that the people in charge weren’t happy with the quality of the magazine anyway and that’s another “major reason” for closing down.

It’s sort of funny. It’s like saying, “Well, we had too many submissions for our small staff, and we couldn’t get distribution…and, oh, yeah, BTW — the magazine sucked, too.”
