So, I recently held a cool sort of drawing/contest to give away some Goth Girl minimates. It was pretty simple: BuyGoth Girl Rising, e-mail in your receipt, and you could get a minimate.

 

 

That promotion is over, but people are still wondering how they can get their hands on a minimate. Well, I’m here to tell you.
 

SHARE THE LOVE!

I wanted to use Kyra’s cool toy to do more than just promote my own book. I wanted to also introduce people to some other fantastic writers. So, I came up with “Share the Love.” It’s simple:

  1. Buy a copy of any of my books. You can do this from Amazon.com, BN.com, or your local independent bookseller.
  2. At the same time, buy any book from any of the following authors: Natalie Standiford, Paul Griffin,Melissa C. Walker, or Dan Poblocki. Again, you can do this from Amazon.com, BN.com, or yourlocal independent bookseller.
  3. E-mail a PDF or a JPG file of the order form or the receipt from steps 1 & 2 to this special e-mail address: minimate@barrylyga.com. Be sure to include your full mailing address! This e-mail address is ONLY for this promotion! No one will be answering questions sent there, so if you have questions, ask them in the comments below or use the contact form.
  4. This will run from now until I get 100 entries, so send ’em in!

If you don’t know how to to make a PDF or a JPG from something on your screen…

If you buy the books at a brick-and-mortar store and you don’t own a scanner, you can have your receipt scanned at places like Kinko’s and similar office supply/services stores.

You CANNOT just forward or e-mail a text confirmation or e-mail confirmation from an online store! It needs to be a file showing the web site’s confirmation screen or a scan of a paper receipt from a store!
