Question for Kyra

By: Mark
on Tue February 02, 2010, 13:06:45

First off, Kyra, I think you need to give Don another chance. He’s a good friend; you can’t always go the Han Solo route.
And, I’ve got one question for you, where did all those cars come from? Were they boosted?

Oh, Kyra

Kyra, it is really hard to be a teen these days. But going about it without a friend is hard. Ease up on Fanboy. He needs you too.
Did you steal all of those different cars and if so, why?

Considering I only read TAAOFBAGG, forgive my outdated statement and question.
Kyra, you really astonished me when you lifted you sweatshirt for Fanboy.
What’s the truth about your situation and family?
Hopefully, if I do win a copy of Goth Girl Rising, I’ll get more of a background on Kyra. 🙂

Hey Kyra!

What I would say to Kyra:
Hey, I just wanted to give you heads up that lots has changed since you’ve been gone and try to keep a level head. Vengence never does anything but cause us pain.
What I would ask Kyra:
If you could kill only ONE person at your high school without any consequences who would it be and why?

First, Kyra, you should really go easy on Fanboy, his is, afterall, just a boy!
Also, ummm….why do you smoke Kyra? Especially considering your family history?

Kyra, you need friends. Change is hard, but you need to just go with it.
I really want to know where the cars came from?? Please tell me.

Just so you know, that was totally, amazingly badass of you to shave off all your hair. Really cool.
And I have to wonder… why the swingset? Is it special?

There’s so much I’d like to say to Kyra ^_^’
Kyra, I’m glad you found closure with yourself, you should live life as you want it, don’t be held back by the wrongs you’ve done and have been done to you in the past and always move forward.
What I’d AskKyra, you’d probably kill me but…would you go out with me? XD

I relate to Kyra a lot – many of her feelings and emotions are things that I felt in high school or indeed, still feel now.
I would tell Kyra that high school is meaningless and although later these things won’t seem to matter as much, feeling superior to the sheep can last forever. <3
I would ask Kyra what she thought happened after we die.

Kyra, sometimes dudes, especially geeks need an indication before they make the first move, if you like Fanboy, give him a hint
OK, whats your desert island top 5 song picks?

1. You should try chewing gum.
2. Who would you prefer the hero in Schemata look like if not Dina Jurgens?

Kyra T & Q

Kyra, you are important and valuable. If you could learn to let people into your life to see the real Kyra, they will certainly see that too. You portray this tough, brash, say-anything exterior that shows that you have a lot of opinions and ideas that make you an intelligent person and an asset as a friend. That is great, but you can share things about your troubles though too. You can tell people what hurts and what troubles you. You don’t have to try to hide from the world by not letting anyone in and try to stand out at the same time by doing things to shock those around you. You don’t have to do things to hurt yourself or put yourself at risk. You can get love and attention by standing out in a positive way and get your adrenaline pumping with a safe outlet (you would rock at debate).
So Kyra, if you decide to let people in to see the real you, how will you decide who to befriend and trust with your hopes, fears, thoughts and dreams?

I love Kyra. 🙂

I wish I could be even the tiniest percent of cool as you are. You’re probably thinking, “What a creep, eff off.” or “Yeah…I AM pretty badass.”
What was Fanboy’s third thing?!

Kyra, it’s nice to have a nice mental hatred of certain things, as it is cathartic to ourselves, but the best way to solve problems is confrontation and compassion, not subtlety and deception. Though your method of “revenge” is fun.
Have you read such comics as Fables and Y: the Last Man, those comics in between the fine line of superheroes and groundbreaking graphic novels?

Kyra, it’s awesome that you stick to your guns. Clingy boys suck. Keep staying strong, no matter what anybody else says.
What kind of music are you into?

Kyra it’s amazing how you try to keep real to who you are, but sometimes its ok to give a little to get a little.
I went to a very small school (32 kids in my graduating class). How would you handle going to a school that small?

Ask and Tell

Firstly, Kyra, I would tell you that the best black eyeliner you can find is made by Urban Decay. It’s an appropriate name, I think.
But I have to ask, doesn’t it get hot sometimes wearing all black?

Hello there

By: K8
on Thu February 11, 2010, 16:30:19

1. I would tell Kyra “You march to the beat of your own drum, carry on”
2. I would ask
“Who’s your hero? (assuming you have one)”

Well hello there Kyra!

I know alot about what it’s like to be in your type of situation. My advise is just keep in mind that most people do have the same confusing and twisted up thoughts that you do, just try to work with them to figure out how to get through your problems. Yeah I know it looks like you’re giving up controll of the situation but really you’re taking control by doing something about it. People can’t survive on thier own, we need others. plain and simple.
How do you manage to get away with stealing cars?

Yet another message from the depths of the internet

By: Vincent
on Fri February 12, 2010, 00:40:11

Kyra,People seem to be at best a very mixed blessing. You completely despise them. You wish they would simply burn forever. And yet you need them, or at least some of them, and if you’re ever truly alone you feel lost, worthless, and completely hurt.

Yet so many are nothing more than sheep – given, at least on occasion, quite nice sheep – but they are still sheep. You are one of the few that is not afraid to be different. To be who you want to be, not what the shepherd says you should be. I salute you.

But remember, we all need someone who actually understands. And if you find them, don’t ever let go. Without those we call friends we are nothing.
On another note, have you given any thought to what you will do in another two years, when you are no longer bound to the will if your father? When you are free of that hell that is high school?

Dear Kyra,
Everything seems like shit, like it’s the most miserable time of your life. I can’t guarantee that it will get better, but IT DOES END. That’s probably the most comforting advice I can give you. Nothing lasts forever, but everything ends eventually. But every ending means something new begins.
My question is: What were you going to do with that bullet?

I’d tell Kyra that I would love to know how and why she came to be who she is.The question I would ask her is, “What do you see yourself doing in the future? Seriously.”

I’d tell Kyra that I admire and hate her personality.
I’d asked her, “Why do you live life the way you’re living?”

I think I would tell Kyra that she’s a rockstar, and not to listen to what anyone else has to say.
Then I would ask her how she’s such a rockstar. 🙂

Try not to think too much. It’s bad for your health.

Kyra, I’d like to say that even though you may have a hard, dark, outer shell, I can’t help but to think that you are still beautiful on the inside, and on the outside, you’ve made an identity for yourself, and I respect that.
My question to you is this: If you had to choose a color other than something dark, like black or grey, which color would you be most likely to wear all of the time?

Sadly my inaccurate prejudgments of your character restricted me from seeing the truth that lied beneath the harsh exterior. Now that I’ve read your side of things, I’m far more understanding of the trials and difficulties you’ve encountered. More importantly, I saw your ability to transcend your old self and reform yourself into a better Kyra. Each and every one of us can resonate with your identity struggle in some share and to that effect, we can better understand ourselves and others as well.
One question I would love to ask of you is “have you read any comics besides Sandman? There’s so much detail that we are unaware of within a fictional world.

Of all of the things I’d like to tell you, this is the thing I feel you should follow: talk to your dad. I understand that you’re angry at him for being the cause of your mother’s cancer and not being able to handle you, but you two need to have a real talk. One where you don’t scream at each other.
Of all of the things I’d like to ask you, I’d love to know what the third thing was.

Kyra-I think you are amazing! the way you tell people how it is. you’re never afraid to speak your mind. i wish there were more people like you.
My question is, that i have been wondering since I started reading this book is: What is Fanboy’s Third thing??
