Want a FREE copy of Hero-Type?

If you want an advance copy of my new book, Hero-Type, it's easy to get one. The publisher is giving away a limited quantity of ARCs (Advance Reading Copies).

Basically, you just get in touch with them and they send it to you! Couldn't be easier, right? There are only two rules:

1. You MUST be either a bookseller or a librarian OR between the ages of 12 and 19.
2. You must be willing to answer some questions about the book from my publisher. Not like essay questions or anything -- don't worry; it's not a test. They just want to know what you think.

Remember: These are only available while supplies last, so don't wait!

Free ARC of Hero Type?

Hello,

I'd like to request a free ARC of Barry Lyga's Hero Type. I am a high school librarian in Iowa City, IA. My colleagues and I do booktalks each October for our county-wide Community Reading Month. One of the titles I did last year was Lyga's Boy Toy and I'm interested in reading his latest to possibly include in this year's booktalks. FYI, these booktalks are generally attended in person by about 100 people who are interested in ideas for the YA readers in their lives, plus it is shown on our local library cable channel throughout the rest of the year. So, people tune in to get ideas of books to purchase for teens.

That sucks that all the free copies are gone. I'm probably Barrys biggest fan and I love The Astonishing Adventure Of Fanboy and Goth Girl. I really wish i had found this site earlier.. oh well. I'll just have to wait until the stores start selling them.
