Buy Goth Girl Rising, Get a Minimate!

Want a Goth Girl minimate? Well, if you do (and who wouldn't -- she's so cute...in a totally kick-ass way, of course), then odds are you also want to read Goth Girl Rising. So I'm here to show you how you can kill two birds with one stone.

This idea was inspired by bestselling author Joe Finder, who was kind enough to grant me permission to steal his idea and make some modifications to it. It's pretty simple...

1. Between now and midnight on October 19 (the official publication date for Goth Girl Rising), preorder a copy of Goth Girl Rising. You can do this from Amazon.com, BN.com, or your local independent bookseller.
2. If you actually see Goth Girl Rising on sale in a store, go ahead and buy it. (You know you want to...) Similarly, if you go to pre-order the book online and it's ready to ship, that's cool, too.
3. E-mail a PDF or a JPG file of the preorder form or the receipt from step 1 or 2 to this special e-mail address: minimate@barrylyga.com. Be sure to include your full mailing address! This e-mail address is ONLY for this promotion! No one will be answering questions sent there, so if you have questions, ask them in the comments below or use the contact form.
4. The first 100 people who e-mail their receipt/preorder form will get a Goth Girl minimate!
5. From everyone else who sends in their information, we will randomly pick another 100 people to get a Goth Girl minimate!

If you buy the book at a brick-and-mortar store and you don't own a scanner, you can have your receipt scanned at places like Kinko's and similar office supply/services stores.

You CANNOT just forward or e-mail a text confirmation or e-mail confirmation from an online store! It needs to be a file showing the web site's confirmation screen or a scan of a paper receipt from a store!

@Doug: Good question. I'm going to say yes, but with the caveat that three is the limit. It just seems too ripe for abuse otherwise. If people want to order more than three books, that's fine, but the most minimates we'll send out will be three.
