Anyway, the Nerve Cowboy rejection was, well, chromatically intriguing, let’s say:

Yep, that is black pen on what feels like brown construction paper, artfully torn at two edges. Interestingly, the scanning process seems to have lightened the brown and darkened the black. It’s easier to read scanned than on the original.

But if you can’t read it, it says:

(The 6th Credit) [The title of the story I had submitted.]
