Memory Monday: Super Friendly Tyrants

As a kid, I — of course — loved the classic Super Friends cartoon. And when I discovered that there was a comic book, too? Well, I was totally on-board.

Of course, since it was intended for young kids, the Super Friends comic book was a little…gentle. Note here that the Super Friends have been brainwashed by the villainous Overlord…

Even when brainwashed into being lawless tyrants, the Super Friends still generously inform each other as to their plans…and even though they each intend on running the entire world, they kindly and conveniently decide — independently — to start with a different continent.

Aww… Super Friends!
