Every month, YA authors gather at the Jefferson Market branch of the New York Public Library. Why? Is it some kind of dark, unsacred ritual, designed to bring about the end of the world?

No. That happens at the big library on 42nd Street.

The monthly Jefferson Market gathering is for Teen Author Reading Night, during which a gaggle of authors read from recent or upcoming work. It’s always a great deal of fun, so what’s keeping you from joining in?

You can find the library at the corner of 6th Ave. and 10th St. in Manhattan. Readings begin at 6:00 and generally run until 7:30. The next two months’ scheduled readers are:
