EVERY MONDAY – WHETHER YOU NEED IT OR NOT – I POST COOL, ABSURD, AND/OR AWESOME PANELS FROM COMIC BOOKS I READ AS A KID. THIS IS

MEMORY MONDAY

Memory Monday – Superstalker

A rare wordless panel from a 1980s comic. ‘Cause the art says it all!

Superman, the Peeping Tom
Decades before the Super-Peeping-Tom of Bryan Singer’s Superman Returns, the comics had Kal-El the Voyeur!

I think what I like best about this story is that it turns out the dude macking on Lois Lane is some kind of rich genius type who’s been distracting Superman with news of disasters so that he can make time with Lois sans Super-distraction. All I can say is, Lois must be the World’s Greatest, er, Kisser (yeah, let’s say kisser…) to go to all that trouble.

(From Action Comics #520, June 1981. Story by Gerry Conway. Art by Curt Swan and Frank Chiaramonte.)
