The folks at Figment.com have posted a short story of mine, titled “When I Die.” A little background: I originally wrote this story a number of years ago and actually submitted it to a regional horror contest…and was surprised to win! Yay, me, right? Thanks to the Mid-Atlantic Horror Association for the being the first group to make it possible for me to legitimately call myself “award-winning author Barry Lyga.”

Anyway, I’ve always liked this twisted little story of hell, heaven, and earthly regret, so now the world can see it on Figment. You can read it on the Figment blog or on my Figment author page. I hope you like it. Leave a comment — I’ll be reading ’em!
