Some background necessary for this one if you want the full impact…

Once upon a time, the Flash was married. And then his arch-enemy — the evil Reverse-Flash — murdered his wife. Pathos and angst ensued.

Cut to: Years later. The Flash has found new love and is ready to remarry. When on his wedding day, who shows up? Why, the Reverse-Flash, of course! What is he up to? Well, he leads the Flash on a race around the world and eventually spells out his intentions with his speed-trail on the Sahara Desert… (Flash is the red trail; Reverse-Flash is the leading yellow trail.)
