Hi, there, librarians! Sorry to bug you. This will just take a second…

I’ll be at the ALA Annual Conference in Washington D.C. for the length of the show. I would love to meet any and all librarians who’ve enjoyed my work. (And you know what? I’d even like to meet you if you DON’T enjoy my work because that’s just the kind of guy I am! Seriously — the only way for me to learn what doesn’t work in my books is for people to tell me.)

So, here’s my schedule…

YALSA pre-conference: The Sins of Young Adult Literature
scheduled June 22, 2007 from 10:45 AM to 11:30 AM
I’ll be on a panel with author Frank Warren. The topic is non-traditional formats for YA books, so I’ll talk about the influence comic books and graphic novels had on me as a writer…and on Fanboy.

Signing: ALA Conference
scheduled June 24, 2007 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM
I’ll sign copies of The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl, along with Advance Reader Copies of the upcomingBoy Toy. The signing will take place in the Houghton Mifflin booth on the exhibition floor (#2936).

YALSA Authors’ Stage: LIVE! @ Your Library
scheduled June 25, 2007 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM
I’ll read from Boy Toy to YALSA members, in celebration of 50 years of YALSA. (Also on stage today: Cecil Castellucci; 2006 Michael L. Printz Award Winner, John Green; 2004 Michael L. Printz Honor Book Winner, Carolyn Mackler; Catherine Murdock; and Patrick Jones. Come on, people — even if you don’t care about me, how can you resist the rest of that line-up?)

Signing: ALA Conference
scheduled June 25, 2007 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM
Again signing copies of The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl, along with Advance Reader Copies of the upcoming Boy Toy. The signing will take place in the Houghton Mifflin booth on the exhibition floor (#2936).
